The brush lifter hardware kit for Hoover FloorMate cleaners, part 412006001, covering the FH40010, FH40010B, FH40010TV, FH40010TVC and FH40030. It replaces the small parts that raise and lower the brush roll assembly inside the head.
This mechanism is worked every time the machine changes what it is doing on the floor, and it operates soaked in detergent and grit. Worn hardware shows itself as brushes that will not lift clear when they should, leaving wet streaks and swirl marks behind, or that refuse to drop into contact at all, so the cleaner wets the floor without ever scrubbing it.
