Product details

Type Y is the bag Hoover put in most of its WindTunnel uprights, and this is the carbon HEPA version, part 902481001, also numbered AH10165. Two bags to a pack.

The HEPA media traps fine dust rather than passing it back through the bag wall, and the activated carbon layer takes the smell with it - worth having if there is a dog in the house or the last few bags have left the room smelling stale. It suits Hoover uprights that take Type Y or Type Z bags, including WindTunnel models such as the U5395, U5420 and U5433, and the UH30310.

Change at about two-thirds full. Carbon and HEPA media both work by holding what passes through them, so a packed bag quietly stops doing either job.
