Nobody orders a support rivet until one has already let go. Part 048422 is the fastener Hoover used across a run of upright models to hold structural sections of the body together against decades of vibration, and it fits the 1030, C1067, C1111, C1123, C1125, C1401 and C1407.
A rivet rarely announces trouble ahead of time. It shears outright one day, or the joint it was holding slowly opens up until the pin finally gives way under load.
