Type Z is the upright bag Hoover used on the Power Drive, Dimension and Caddy Vac machines, and this three-pack is part 4010075Z. On the shop floor it is the bag for the U6311-930 through U6335-930 uprights, and it also covers the U5252-930 and U5130-900.
An upright running a loaded bag stops picking up along the edges first, then starts pushing a fine grey line of dust ahead of the nozzle instead of taking it in. That is an airflow problem, not a brush roll problem, and it is fixed in under a minute.
Check the letter stamped on the collar of the bag you pull out before ordering. Hoover ran several bag styles on visually similar uprights of this era, and the collars are close enough to tempt you into forcing the wrong one.
