Electric Hose Assembly with Switch - Rainbow E2, 14 Ft, 4.5" Steel Tube

Part R12457 is the 14-foot electric hose for the Rainbow E2, with the switch built into the handle so the power nozzle can be started and stopped without walking back to the canister. The steel tube on the handle measures 4.5 inches and the button sits roughly 1.8 inches from the edge, which is the detail to check against your old hose before ordering.

Electric hoses fail at the wire, not the tube. The nozzle cuts in and out as the hose is flexed, or stops answering the switch entirely, and by then the conductor has usually broken inside a bend that looks perfectly sound from the outside.

It fits the E2 Blue in Platinum and Silver, the E2 Gold two-speed, the E2 two-speed and the E series one-speed machines, and it can be used for wet pickup alongside an AquaMate. Because it carries current, never submerge it and do not run it damaged.
