The hose guide, part B600-2414, keeps the on-board hose routed along the body of Riccar R25S, R25D and R25P uprights instead of letting it hang loose against the bag or drop into the wheels. It is a small molded retainer, and a snapped one is a routine casualty when the hose gets pulled free in a hurry.
