The handle absorbs every twist and drop the hose takes, and it is the part most likely to break before the hose itself does. Related components are stocked individually if the damage is narrower than the whole assembly, among them the bleed valve slide and gasket assembly (C355-0914) and the hose handle swivel cuff (B355-0314B), which also covers MV machines. PV vacuums at .5 or later take the current handle rather than this one.
