Hide A Hose Sock - 50 ft Re...

Product details
Fifty feet of replacement sock, part HS502105, sold on its own for the hose in a Hide-A-Hose system. It is the fabric layer riding on the outside of that hose, letting it travel in and out of the wall pipework instead of scraping directly against the tube walls.
A sock takes the abuse the hose itself is spared from, and it shows wear well before the hose underneath does. Look for thin patches, a frayed edge, or fabric bunching up somewhere along its length, since any of those can snag inside the pipe and stop a retraction partway, leaving a stretch of hose hanging out at the valve where it should have disappeared into the wall. A pull that suddenly needs more force than usual, in either direction, is often the sock catching rather than the hose itself resisting.
Before ordering, pull the worn sock free and run your fingers over the bare hose underneath. A hose that still bends smoothly and shows no splits or soft spots along its length is one you can keep using once it gets a new cover, a cheaper repair than swapping the entire hose assembly.
Order this sock sized to the hose it will cover, not to the length of pipe behind the wall, and take a tape measure to your old cover first if its length is not marked anywhere.
