This replacement carbon motor brush (Part #CAS845) is designed specifically for the Johnny Vac JV125 vacuum, sold individually. Inside every motor, a pair of carbon brushes ride against the rotating commutator and feed electrical current to the armature. They are a normal wear part — as the carbon block shortens with use, the motor may spark, lose power, run intermittently, or fail to start altogether.

Fitting a fresh brush is the standard, economical way to bring a tired JV125 motor back to full strength rather than replacing the whole motor. The carbon is shaped to seat correctly against the commutator for smooth, low-spark contact.
