This Poly-V belt (Part #CJV14) is the drive belt for the Johnny Vac Tecnica JVAC JV14 and JV16 vacuums. A Poly-V belt has multiple small longitudinal ribs on its inner face that seat into matching grooves on the motor and brush roll pulleys. The ribbed design spreads the load across several contact points, giving a strong, quiet grip that resists the slipping common with worn flat belts.

If the brush roll on your JV14 or JV16 turns weakly, squeals, or stops while the motor runs, the Poly-V belt has typically stretched or glazed. A new belt re-seats in the pulley grooves and returns the agitator to full speed.
