The control board inside a Johnny Vac PowerLux X2 power unit is what listens for a wall inlet or remote keypad signal and switches the motor on and off, and this is the replacement board for that unit. When the low-voltage logic on the original board degrades, the power unit stops answering the hose handle even though the motor itself is fine.

A PowerLux X2 that will not start, cycles on its own, or ignores the wall inlets and keypad points at this board rather than the motor in most cases.
