This genuine Kirby rear axle (Part #102069A) fits the Classic I CR, Classic Omega 1CB, and Classic III 2CB. Built to factory specification, it carries the rear wheels and sets the correct ride height for smooth travel.
As the axle wears, wheels begin to drag, wobble, or make the machine hard to push, and a worn shaft can throw off the vacuum's height on the floor. That extra effort wears on the operator over a long clean. A factory-spec replacement restores proper height and easy maneuvering on any surface.
