This genuine OEM Bag Top Wire (Part #191781) restores proper function to the outer bag on Kirby Heritage uprights. The wire shapes and supports the top of the outer cloth bag, holding it open and correctly positioned so the bag system seals and filters as designed.
A bent, worn, or missing top wire lets the bag sag or sit crooked, which can break the seal and let dust escape. The outer cloth bag captures fine particles passing through the inner paper bag, so keeping it properly shaped protects that secondary filtration.
