Five brush strips for the surface nozzle used on Kirby machines from the Generation 5 through the Avalir 2, part 219197S. These are the bristle inserts that sit in the above-floor nozzle, the hand-held head on the end of the hose - not the strips from the power nozzle's main brush roll.
Their job is to break the surface of a rug or an upholstered cushion so the airflow can lift what is sitting underneath. Once the bristles are worn short or bent over, the nozzle stops agitating and starts gliding, and rugs come out looking vacuumed rather than actually clean.
The five-pack does the nozzle now and leaves spares in the drawer. It is listed for the Generation 5 and Generation 6, the Ultimate G, the Diamond Edition, the Sentria and Sentria II, and the Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum.
