A five-pack of headlight pivot bushings for Kirby uprights, part 161689S. Each bushing is a small sleeve that lines the pivot the headlight assembly swings on, giving the metal a bearing surface to turn against instead of grinding on itself.
They are inexpensive, they wear, and they are almost always replaced as a set, because a mix of old and new bushings loads the pivot unevenly. Worn ones let the headlight go loose and rattle over carpet, or bind so the light will not hold the angle you set it to.
These fit the Kirby Generation 3, G4, G5, GSix, Ultimate G, Diamond Edition, Sentria, Sentria II, Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum. The five-pack means you can do the pivot properly in one go and keep spares for the next service. Check the nameplate to confirm your model before ordering.
