Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This is the genuine Kirby clamp that holds the front wheel shaft in the machine, covering the Dual Sanitronic 50 and 80 through to the Tradition 3CB and taking in the Classic 1CR, Classic Omega 1CB and Classic III 2CB along the way. The part number is 134073A.
The clamp's job is simple and unglamorous: it stops the front shaft moving in its housing. When one cracks or loses its grip the shaft walks sideways, the front wheels stop tracking straight, and the whole front end develops a knock you can feel through the handle. Left long enough, a loose shaft wears the housing it sits in, which is a far more expensive repair.
Replace clamps in pairs if both are original, and inspect the shaft for scoring while the front end is apart.
