Product details
Part 211084S is the machine-end coupling for older Kirby uprights, in black. It is the fitting that locks the hose onto the vacuum's port when the machine is converted for hose and attachment work.
All the strain of connecting and disconnecting goes through this one piece, and on machines this age the plastic has had decades of it. When the locking detail wears round or the collar cracks, the hose stops sealing. Attachments feel weak even though the hose itself is clear, and the connection works loose while you are using it. Air leaking in at the joint costs far more suction than most people expect.
It fits the Kirby Heritage I, Heritage II and Heritage II Legend. Fit it dry and make sure it seats fully before twisting it home.
