Part 131914 is the genuine Kirby front wheel assembly for the Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum. It is the complete wheel rather than a tread or a hub alone, so a cracked rim, a seized bearing or a flat spot all get sorted in one swap.
Front wheels on a Kirby carry a heavy machine over thresholds and up onto rugs, and they wear from the inside out. The early signs are a squeak that follows the wheel round, a machine that scuffs as it is pushed, and a nozzle that will not sit level on the carpet. A wheel worn through to the hub can mark hard floors.
It fits onto the existing front shaft. Replace both sides together on a machine that has seen years of use, since a new wheel next to a worn one will not sit level.
