This softer-bristle brush roll fits multiple Kirby upright generations and is the gentler counterpart to Kirby's stiff-bristle roller. The softer bristles groom carpet effectively while being easier on lower-pile and more delicate carpeting, lifting everyday dirt, pet hair and fibers into the Kirby's suction without over-agitating the surface.
Brush rolls wear with use as bristles flatten and shorten, leaving carpets dull and reducing pickup. Replacing the roll restores even, full-width contact and smooth, quiet rotation inside the nozzle.
