This genuine OEM gasket (Part #186182A) seals the Em-Tor tray in the dust collection system of classic Kirby uprights. Sold as a 5 pack, each gasket forms the airtight junction that keeps suction strong and dust contained where the tray meets the machine.
Over time a gasket dries out, flattens, or tears, letting air leak past the seal so suction drops and fine dust escapes. Fresh gaskets close those gaps and return the collection system to full sealing.
