Product details
Headlight pivot casting for Kirby uprights, part 161389. It is the casting the headlight assembly mounts on and pivots in, so it holds the lamp square to the nozzle as the machine is reclined and brought back upright.
Castings crack at the pivot, usually after a machine has been tipped over onto the light or the nozzle has been forced. Once cracked, the headlight sags, points at the skirting board instead of the floor ahead, or swings loose as you work, and a loose lamp starts working on its own wiring next.
It fits Generation 3, G4, G5 and GSix machines, the Ultimate G, Diamond Edition, Sentria and Sentria II, and the Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum. Clean the grit out of the pivot before reassembly, because that grit is what wore the old one.
