Product details
This LED circuit board, Kirby part 164317, is the small board behind the headlight assembly on the Avalir 2. It also fits the Avalir Platinum and the Sentria II.
The board drives the machine's LED lighting, so its failures are visible ones: a headlight that will not come on at all, one that flickers as the machine is pushed, or lighting that works only when the housing is squeezed a certain way. Heat and years of vibration are what finish these boards off, and no bulb swap will fix a board fault. If the light is dead but the vacuum runs perfectly, the board is the usual culprit.
Unplug the machine before opening the housing, and photograph the connector positions before unplugging anything so the new board goes back exactly as the old one came out.
