The headlight lens cap is the clear cover over the bulb on the nose of a Kirby, and it takes a beating: kicked under furniture, scraped along baseboards, and heat-cycled by the lamp behind it. Part 108506S is a five-pack of replacement lens caps.
Once the lens is cracked, clouded, or missing, the headlight stops doing the one job it has, which is showing you the dirt along edges and under furniture where room light does not reach. A missing lens also leaves the bulb exposed to knocks.
These fit the Kirby Sentria and Sentria II, and the Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum. Five to a pack makes sense for a repair shop or anyone looking after more than one machine, since this is a part that gets broken rather than worn out.
