Product details
This is the one-piece mini em-tor with fill tube for the Kirby Avalir, part 185814S. The em-tor is the housing the paper bag mounts into; the black fill tube is the hose that carries debris up into it. Supplied together as an assembly, the grey em-tor and its tube go in as one unit.
The tube on this version is deliberately larger in bore than the part it replaced, 185801, and it tapers toward the top to meet the F-style bag holder, so airflow is less restricted through the bag mount. It also fits the Avalir 2.
A cracked em-tor or a split, collapsed fill tube shows up as dust inside the outer bag and suction that has dropped for no obvious reason. Replacing the assembly restores a sealed path from the fan to the bag.
