The Sentria II uses its own handle grip, and part 675712 is it - also catalogued by Kirby as K-675712. It is not the same grip as the first-generation Sentria, so check which machine you have before ordering.
Handle grips fail from the inside out. Hairline cracks open where the grip clamps onto the handle fork, and a season later a piece breaks away and the rest turns loose in the hand. With a machine of this weight, a grip that moves while you push makes the vacuum harder to steer and unpleasant to use for any length of time, particularly on stairs.
A new grip is the cheapest way to make an older Sentria II feel solid again, and it is a few minutes' work rather than a bench session.
