Product details
Swivel hose end for the Kirby Sentria, part 223306. It is the plastic fitting at the tool end of the hose, and the swivel is the whole point of it: the coupling turns freely so the hose can twist behind you while the tool stays put in your hand.
When the swivel cracks or its collar wears oval, the joint stops sealing. You feel that as suction fading at the tool while the machine itself sounds completely unchanged, and as tools that work loose or drop off mid-stroke. A seized swivel is just as irritating in the other direction - the hose fights every turn and kinks against itself.
