Three genuine Kirby Micron Magic upright bags, part 197294S. The paper is built in two layers, a brown filter layer behind a white one, using Kirby's Micro Particle Arrest technology, and the bag fits the Generation 4 and 5, the G6, the Ultimate G, the Diamond Edition and the Sentria.
Kirby bags fill from the bottom, so they look emptier than they are. Once the paper is loaded past about two thirds, airflow through the pores collapses and you feel it straight away: the head gets harder to push, the machine sounds higher pitched, and fine dust starts working back out of the bag collar.
Three bags is roughly a season of ordinary use in a two-person house, less with pets. Change on airflow, not on the calendar.
