This is Kirby's tile and grout brush roll, the roll to fit when the job moves from pile carpet to grout lines and other hard flooring rather than for everyday carpet grooming.

It fits Kirby's G-series and Sentria-era machines: G3, G4, G5, G6, G7, G7D, G10, Sentria, Sentria II, Diamond Edition, and Ultimate G. The roll is stocked as part 329613, also listed under Kirby's 329613G and K-329613 numbers, and built with yellow and blue bristle rows.

Keep this roll separate from the one you run on carpet so each wears to its own job. Bristles here go the same way any roll's do: they splay outward, lose height, and eventually stop reaching down into the grout line at all, which is the point where cleaning the roll no longer buys anything back. Hold the bristle rows against a new roll if you are unsure how far gone they are, and clear wound hair and grit from the ends before it works its way into the supports. Any floor finish has a limit on what it will take from a brush, so try an out-of-the-way patch before running the roll across a whole room.
