This genuine Kirby slide adjustment wedge set is part of the nozzle height system and comes as a 5 pack for Generation III and related machines. Each wedge helps set the brush height for different carpet depths.
Worn wedges make the height adjustment stiff or unreliable, so the nozzle no longer sets cleanly to the carpet. Fresh wedges restore smooth, positive height changes across carpet types.
