Product details

Part B386-3114 is the left-hand scroll housing, in black, for the PV2, R40 and S40 upright vacuums. It is one half of the housing that surrounds the fan at the base of the machine, sold on its own rather than as a full fan assembly.

This is the housing shell, not the fan, the motor or the bearing behind it. Order it when the plastic itself has cracked, warped from heat, or lost a mounting boss, not as a first step for airflow or noise complaints that usually trace back to the motor or fan wheel instead. A housing that has warped even slightly can also let dust and fine debris past the seal where the two halves meet.

  • Part: B386-3114
  • Side: left
  • Color: black
  • Fits: PV2, R40 and S40 uprights

Check the mounting bosses and screw bosses on your current housing against the new one before ordering, and verify against your machine's part diagram if the fit looks close but not exact. Inspect the fan wheel itself for cracked blades while the housing is open, since that is a separate part.
