Product details

Kenmore part 4369678 is the lower wand from a canister vacuum's two-piece wand set: the 22.5-inch section that carries airflow from the hose down to the power nozzle or floor tool.

Wands take knocks. A dent stops the two sections sliding smoothly, and a cracked or worn locking collar lets the joint breathe, so air leaks in at the wand instead of being pulled through the nozzle and the tool at the far end loses its bite even though the machine sounds strong. On an electrified set, a wand that will not lock firmly also unsettles the contacts.

Measure yours before ordering. This is the lower section at 22.5 inches, and Kenmore has used several wand lengths and cuff patterns over the years, so compare the length and the end fittings against the wand you are replacing rather than going by the model of the machine alone.
