Part B232-0431 is the lower wand clip in charcoal, produced from the shared family mold. The clip is the retainer on the back of an upright that holds the bottom of the extension wand against the body, so the wand does not rattle loose or drop out while the machine is being pushed.

Clips sit exposed and catch on furniture, so a broken lower clip alongside a perfectly good upper one is a common pairing. The matching upper wand clip in the same charcoal finish is stocked as B232-0331 if both need doing.
