These genuine OEM brush inserts are 5-inch agitator strips for the Maytag M1200, Simplicity R10P and R10S, and Riccar R10P and R10S. The inserts carry the bristle rows that sweep and agitate carpet as the brush roll turns.
Bristles wear down, flatten, and shed with use until the brush no longer reaches into the carpet pile. Worn inserts leave dirt behind and reduce the machine's grooming action. Fresh inserts restore firm bristle contact and effective agitation.
