Part D015-0800 is the metal base plate assembly for Riccar Symmetry 6000-series household uprights, the plate that carries the agitator and floor-contact hardware on the underside of the machine.

A base plate that has bent, cracked at a mounting point, or worn oversized at the agitator bearing seat lets the brushroll sit at the wrong height or wobble in operation, and no amount of belt or brush adjustment corrects a bent plate underneath it. Uneven cleaning across the width of the nozzle, or a brushroll that drags on one side more than the other, often traces back here rather than to the brush itself.
