SEBO Micro Safety Switch with Wiring for ET-1 and ET-2 Power Heads

A micro switch is what tells an ET power head it is safe to run. Part 880 is that switch for the SEBO ET-1 and ET-2, supplied complete with its wiring so nothing has to be spliced onto an existing loom or crimped by hand.

When the switch or its leads give up, the head reads the interlock as open and simply refuses to turn. That is easy to mistake for a failed brush motor or a broken wand connection, and it is the reason ET heads get replaced when a small component was the whole problem. The pattern is recognisable: the canister motor runs normally, the head stays silent, and there is no motor sound at all from the nozzle rather than a straining one. Fitting the correct original switch, wiring included, restores the interlock and normal running in one part instead of a chain of guesses.

Parts 880 and 881 solve different complaints on the same heads, and it is worth being clear which one you have. A head that is completely dead from the moment it is connected points at the interlock switch supplied here. A head that starts and then cuts in and out as the wand is moved points instead at the on/off harness, part 881.

Disconnect the machine from the outlet before opening the head, and inspect the wand contacts while you are in there, since a dirty contact set produces symptoms close enough to be confused with this fault.
