The heart of a Miele Compact C1: this is the genuine Miele fan motor, part 6189341, the 1,200-watt, 120 V Miele-made Vortex motor (factory designation MRG702/81-42/2) fitted to the Compact C1 and S4000 series canisters. If your machine hums, screeches, smells hot, or has lost the deep suction it had when new, the fan motor is the component to replace — paired, ideally, with a fresh filter set so the rebuilt airflow path stays clean.

This motor fits:

  • Miele Compact C1 Pure Suction, Turbo Team, HomeCare and Cat & Dog (SCAE0 chassis)
  • Miele S4000 series canisters from S4210 through S4780, including S4210 Carina and S4212 Polaris
  • S4 named models: Antares, Neptune, Capella, Sirius, Luna, Eclipse, Hermes, Orion

Related part numbers you may see on older service sheets include 06189340 and 6189342 — all refer to the same 120 V replacement motor family for this platform. The unit weighs roughly 1.7 kg and drops into the original motor cradle with the factory rubber isolation mounts.
