Part MINIKIT is the 22 foot Mini Kit for Hide A Hose central vacuum systems: the hose, the inlet valve and the mount, supplied together as one cleaning point.
What sets a Hide A Hose point apart from a conventional inlet is that the hose never leaves the wall. It pulls out of the tubing when you need it and is drawn back in when you are done, so there is no coil to store in a closet and no length of hose to drag from room to room.
The 22 foot length suits shorter runs, such as a single room, a landing or a small apartment, where 40 feet would be more hose than the tubing can take. Measure the area you want to reach from the inlet position before ordering, and confirm your system is a Hide A Hose retracting one rather than a standard central vacuum.
