Part MINIVALVEFINISH40 is the mini valve finish for a 40 foot Hide A Hose garage point. It is the room-side trim and valve, the piece you see and touch at the wall, fitted over the rough-in installed behind it.
Garage inlets take more punishment than the ones indoors: knocks from equipment, dust, and cold. A valve that sticks half open, refuses to latch, or has cracked around the mounting is worth changing rather than working around, because the valve is what starts the system and guides the retracting hose back into the tubing.
Order by the hose length the point was built for. This is the 40 foot garage finish; the 22 foot version is a separate part and the two are not interchangeable.
