This replacement motor assembly for the Rainbow D2 and D3 (Part #R2104) supplies the suction power for the machine and is provided less separator. It is the core unit that pulls air through the vacuum's water-based filtration.

A motor that has lost suction, overheats, makes unusual noise, or has stopped running is often at the end of its service life, and a burning smell, heavy vibration, or intermittent power loss all point to motor failure. Left in service, a failing motor can quit mid-clean. Installing a fresh assembly restores full cleaning power.
