SEBO Motor and Cord Reel Cover Panel for the C Series

One moulded panel covers both the motor bay and the cord reel on a C-series canister, and 6192 is the replacement for it. The panel closes the housing over two of the machine's bulkiest assemblies and gives the reel mechanism something solid to sit against. SEBO lists it for the C1.1, the C2.1 and the C3.1.

Drops and knocks crack this panel at its screw bosses, and aged plastic can split along a mounting rib with no obvious impact behind it. Broken, it lets dust into the motor bay and can leave the cord retracting unevenly because the reel is no longer properly backed. A rattle that appears only while the cord is being wound in is the usual first clue.

Two covers on these machines are both called a motor cover, and ordering the wrong one is easy. This is the larger panel spanning the motor bay and the cord reel; the plain motor cover, which encloses the motor alone, is 6196. The seal that closes this panel down onto the bottom casing is 6186, and it should go in with any new cover rather than being reused. The seal for the smaller cover is a different number again, 6306.
