SEBO Motor Cover for C Series Canisters

Heat is the enemy of any vacuum motor, and the cover over it is part of how SEBO manages that heat. Item 6196 encloses the motor on C-series canisters, shielding it from debris while keeping cooling air moving along the route the design intends. The same number is listed for the C1.1, the C2.1 and the C3.1.

A cracked cover changes both of those things at once: grit reaches the motor and air short-circuits instead of sweeping past it. Broken mounting tabs also let the panel buzz against the housing, which is often what sends someone looking in the first place. Replacing it costs a fraction of the motor it protects, so it deserves attention as soon as damage shows.

Do not confuse it with the larger panel that spans the motor bay and the cord reel together — that one is 6192, and it seals to the bottom casing with 6186. This cover has its own seal, 6306, and fitting a new cover onto a flattened old seal gives away the airtight joint you have just paid to restore. Underneath sit the parts that carry the motor: 6173 at the front, 6189 at the rear and the rubber mounting pair 6188ER, all listed for the same C1.1, C2.1 and C3.1 machines. The motor itself is 6165, supplied with its 05101S carbon brush set.
