Replacement motor housing for the broom-vacuum platform shared by the Riccar R60, the Simplicity S60 and the Fuller Brush FB-SPFM.2, ordered as part C669-0300. The housing is the molded shell that carries the motor, holds it square to the airway and closes the path between the dust cup and the fan.
These shells take the abuse on a stick broom. Stand the machine up, let it tip over a few hundred times, and the mounting bosses eventually crack. Once the shell flexes, the motor no longer sits centered, the machine runs louder and less air reaches the cup.
