Bag chamber for MV-chassis Tandem Air uprights — the platform behind the Riccar R30, Simplicity S30 and Maytag M1200. Part D480-1100 replaces the molded housing the bag seats into, complete rather than as separate panels.
Debris passes from the nozzle through the air path and into this chamber, so damage here is felt immediately: suction drops at the floor head and dust works its way out around the cover instead of staying in the bag. Impact cracks, a warped sealing face and broken mounting bosses are the common reasons for replacing one.
