Nadair Central Vacuum Low Voltage Wire Socket / Connector

Down inside the handle of a low-voltage central vacuum hose, a small socket and connector complete the electrical path between the hose wiring and the handle's on/off switch and wand prongs. This is that connector, built for the Nadair low-voltage hose lineup, the contact point that carries the signal telling the powerhead to run.

It is a small part but an easy point of failure. Corrosion, a bent prong, or a cracked socket body will break the on/off signal even though the hose, wand, and powerhead are all otherwise in working order, and the handle switch will click with no response at the floor tool. Because the connection sits at a joint that flexes every time the hose is coiled or extended, it sees more mechanical stress over time than the fixed wiring elsewhere in the system, which is part of why it fails before other low-voltage components.

Replacing just the socket and connector, rather than the whole hose, fixes that class of fault directly and avoids the cost of a full hose assembly over a single worn contact point. It is sized for Nadair's low-voltage hose handle line and the wand ends built to mate with it.

Match the prong spacing and socket size against the failed part before ordering, since low-voltage hose systems are not fully interchangeable between brands, and inspect the mating wand prongs for corrosion at the same time so both halves of the connection are clean.
