Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Oreck 430000961 is a genuine black edge-cleaning brush for compatible Oreck upright vacuum baseplates. Also called a corner brush, side brush or edge brush strip, it helps sweep debris along walls and baseboards toward the cleaning path. It cross-references older part numbers 75766-04 and 75766-02.
Sold individually: one edge brush per order. Compatible baseplates use two brushes; order quantity 2 to replace both sides.

Compatible models and baseplate versions
Match the baseplate as well as the model number. Some Classic models were produced with different edge-brush assemblies. This is the separate brush strip without wheels; it does not replace an entire brush-and-wheel assembly.

What this replacement includes

When to replace an edge brush
Replace a missing brush, cracked holder or worn, flattened bristles that no longer reach the edge of the cleaning path. Inspect both sides of the baseplate before ordering.
Installation and fit questions
Is this the main rotating brush roll?
No. This is the small stationary brush at the edge of the bottom plate. The rotating brush roll is a separate part.
Does it replace 75766-04 or 75766-02?
Yes. Both numbers cross-reference to this black edge brush. The forms 7576604 and 7576602 omit the hyphen.
Will it fit every Oreck XL or U2000 version?
Do not rely on the XL or U2000 name alone. Match the complete model number and the separate, wheel-free edge brush shown in the parts diagram. If your diagram calls for a different number or a brush with wheels, contact us before ordering.
What about U4140HH and Silver Ion brushes?
U4140HH diagrams list 75766-03. That Silver Ion version is not verified here as a direct equivalent to this standard black brush. Ask us to confirm before substituting; this listing does not claim Silver Ion treatment.
How do I replace it?
Unplug the vacuum. Follow your model's baseplate removal instructions, note the original brush orientation, and retain the correct hardware. Install the replacement securely and refit the baseplate before use. Mounting details vary by baseplate version.
