Seal the air path at the base of your Oreck DS16 or DS17 upright with this genuine intake pivot gasket. The gasket sits at the pivot point where the cleaning head meets the nozzle intake, maintaining an airtight connection even as the vacuum tilts and reclines during use.

A worn or compressed intake gasket lets air leak in around the pivot, which reduces suction at the brush roll and lets the machine pick up less debris. Installing a fresh gasket (Part #78011-01) closes that leak and restores strong airflow through the cleaning head.
