This genuine Oreck sole plate with wheels (Part #83004-01) fits the LW100 and LW1500RS Magnesium upright vacuums. The plate forms the underside of the cleaning head and rides on its wheels, holding the nozzle at the correct height as it glides across the floor.

When the wheels wear flat or seize, or the plate cracks or warps, the head begins to drag, scratch hard floors, and lose contact with carpet fibers. Installing the correct sole plate restores smooth travel and proper cleaning height.
