This is a genuine connector assembly for the Oreck XL21 upright vacuum. The connector assembly joins sections of the vacuum's air pathway, linking the tube or hose components so air and debris flow through to the suction system without leaking at the joint.

Because the connector is a stress point that gets handled and flexed during use, the plastic can crack and the fit can loosen over time.
