Replacement plug housing cover for the Cen-Tec CT-16DX power nozzle, also listed for the CT14DXQD and CT20DXQD, and cross-referenced to the power nozzle on the Panasonic MC-CG885 canister. It is also listed for the Kenmore power nozzles that take the same Cen-Tec cover. Part 40416.

The cover protects the electrical plug connection where the power nozzle's cord meets the housing. Once it cracks or goes missing, that connection sits open to dust and to anything spilled near it, and a contact that is no longer shielded tends to fail intermittently rather than outright, which is what makes it easy to blame the hose or the canister instead.
