Product details

AC98EDRHZ000 is a replacement on/off power switch for the Panasonic MC-UL671 and MC-UL675 upright vacuums. It carries current to the motor and is the switch you operate to start and stop the machine.

Switches wear internally before they fail outright. A machine that needs the button pressed hard or several times to start, one that cuts out mid-clean, or one where the button no longer feels positive under your thumb are all typical signs that the contacts inside the switch have worn down.

  • Part: AC98EDRHZ000
  • Fits: Panasonic MC-UL671, Panasonic MC-UL675
  • Function: Main on/off power switch for the motor

Unplug the vacuum before opening the switch housing, then transfer the wires one connection at a time so nothing gets crossed. A vacuum that starts normally but shuts off by itself partway through a job is often doing so because of a switch on the way out, and that fault usually announces itself for a while before the switch stops working entirely. Confirm the part you remove matches AC98EDRHZ000 before ordering rather than going by the model name alone.
